Description
Alligare's Flumigard SC delivers superior performance as an all-in-one or tank-mix partner for rapid knockdown of unwanted and resistant weed species. Flumigard SC is a fast-acting contact herbicide for use in the management of undesirable aquatic vegetation in slow moving or quiescent waters, to maintain non-crop areas, conifer and poplar re-forestation sites, container and field grown conifers (including Christmas trees) and deciduous trees, around established woody ornamentals in landscapes and dormant Bermudagrass. Flumigard SC is also effective as a pre-emergence and/or post-emergence herbicide for control of selected grass and broadleaf weeds. Flumigard SC controls weeds by inhibiting protoporphyrinogen oxidase, an essential enzyme required by plants for chlorophyll biosynthesis Seedling weeds are controlled pre-emergence when exposed to sunlight following contact with the soil applied herbicide
